Fender Jag, CIJ 1997-00, classic sunburst. There's some really stunning grain on show here! The alder body is looking super tasty under the aging sunburst finish. These CIJ-era offsets are very well renowned for their build quality and feel, and this one really feels great. The perfectly balanced body, short Jag 24" scale and slim neck really make this a breeze to play. The famous Jag electronics are on tap, offering heaps of different tones from the clever dual-circuit setup. Dial in a thick, soupy rhythm tone on the darker rhythm circuit, match it against a twangy, searing lead on the other circuit... bliss. The classic sunburst Jag has been one of the coolest guitars around for 50+ years now, and it's not getting any less awesome.
