Fender Japan '54 Stratocaster ST54-53 Black 1993
Fender '54 Strat, made in Japan 1993-4, black. There's not a lot that needs to be said about this: surely the '54 Strat is a good contender for the most iconic guitar of all time. This is a tidy little take on the classic, featuring the vintage style radius and soft-V neck with a golden aged maple board, some tasty vintage style single coils and a tidy tuxedo white-on-black finish. The quality of build on these Fujigen-made Strats is always brilliant, and this is no exception. It feels very sturdy and assured in the hands; the soft-V neck is lovely piece of maple, easy to get along with and surprisingly intuitive. Really can't go wrong here!
