Fender '57 P, crafted in Japan 2010/11, black. This is a very cool looking bass. The standard white guard and chrome hardware has been switched out; it's now wearing a cool tort guard and some black-chrome hardware. The bridge is a high-mass Gotoh model; adding a bit of attack and definition. That adds to the bright, clear tone typical of a maple-board Precision; this cuts through a mix perfectly without sacrificing 'thump'. The maple board feels and looks great too, it lends a little flair to an otherwise pretty traditional shape. This is a perfect bass for punk/hardcore, although it'll easily take on whatever you throw at it. Sleek!
