Fender '57 Strat, vintage white, made in Japan 1992. I love this, it's heaps of fun. Generally speaking, a tasty vintage style white Strat doesn't need much introduction, but here goes. This classy number is based off the 1957 Strat, so it gets some crispy details: the fifties style spaghetti logo and small headstock, a chunky rounded D-shape neck with a gorgeous vintage tinted maple board, three single coils on a single ply guard and a buttery off-white finish. The neck feels great: it really is on the chunky side, which feels reassuring in the hands and means you choose your notes a bit more carefully. A chunky neck with a maple board adds a little extra outline and snap to the tone too, so this has heaps of definition and attack. The neck pickup is thick in the low end and glassy on the top end, while the middle and bridge pickups have a tasty pronounced midrange that loves a decent dash of overdrive. The finish has a few marks and signs of play around the edges, which paired with three decades of yellowing, looks all the better to me. This looks amazing on the shop wall, but... it'll look even better at your house though, right?

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some minor marks on the end and both edges. The neck has a few minor dimples on the back, as well as some rub wear on the edges of the fretboard and some minor lacquer chips on the board on the top side from frets 9-15 or so. The back has some scuffs on the back and bottom edge and widespread minor dimples around the body, nothing nasty. The back plate is missing. The sides have a few minor dimples and scuffs on the top horn, elbow area and near the jack. The front has a couple of marks in the elbow area, dimples behind the bridge and some play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: very good condition (7.5/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets have some normal wear but are pretty even in height with no major buzz issues, 6/10 for fret life left. Set up with fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
