Fender Japan '57 Stratocaster ST57-58US Old Lake Placid Blue 2004
Fender '57 Strat, old lake placid blue, crafted in Japan 2004-5. It's been too long since we were blessed with and OLB Strat around here; it's such a great finish. The deep blue pops perfectly against the golden maple board and prim white guard; this is surely an attractive item. This sports the moderately chunky D-shape neck; it's a natural fit in the hands and the bigger profile and maple board add a little extra chime to the mix. The USA pickups are vey clear and responsive; there's a heap of attack and sparkle on offer, balanced by a tight and controlled low end. Add this to the stash and inject some coastal cool into your life.
