Fender Japan '57 Stratocaster ST57-75TX Ocean Turquoise Metallic 2004
Fender '57 Strat, ocean turquoise, crafted in Japan 2004-5. This is such a great finish for a Strat, I'm definitely on board. With a few years on the clock, the deep marine hue pops perfectly against the golden maple board... it looks so good. This was the high end Fender Japan offering in it's day, so it's blessed with an alder body and a set of USA made Texas Special pickups. That lends it a thick, fat take on the Strat-spank. There's plenty of punch and bounce to your notes on the neck position, or a charming mix of slice and warmth on the bridge and middle. The neck is a vintage style D shape, so it's mildly chunky without being huge. It's a really great piece of maple and feels awesome in the hands. This just works, it's a great Strat and will surely fulfil all your Stratty desires.

The sides have a couple of dimples near the knobs, scuffs in the elbow area and some dimples in the waist area along the top.
