Fender Japan '62 Jazz Bass JB62-58 Candy Apple Red 1998
Fender '62 Jazz, candy apple red, crafted in Japan 1997-00. This slick thumper references the classic early sixties Jazz Bass: glitzy gold logos, comfy slim neck, two single coil pickups and the classic offset body. The candy apple finish has a few knocks and bruises around the place, which takes the edge off the sheen somewhat and lends this some streetsmart suave. The neck is super comfy and features beautiful grain lines on the back, it's a classy piece. Plug it in, and it's all there: punchy fast lows, growly mids, snappy highs. It's a percussive, tuneful tone that will sit in a mix with an assured, understated boldness. This is a great working player's bass, it's sure to get the inspiration flowing.
