Fender '62 Jazz, ocean turquoise metallic, crafted in Japan 1997-00. We don't get that many matching headstock JBs through, but dang... they look good when they do show up. This one is wearing a lovely coat of ocean turquoise, one of Fender's finest 60s custom colours. There's a few marks and some fading around the finish, which I feel adds to the vibe, and with that classy rosewood board and vintage gold decals, it looks cool as a cucumber. The neck is a comfy slim vintage C shape, which never makes you work too hard, and both well balanced and reasonably light. The tone on offer is classic J-growl: plenty of snap and sizzle on the top, tight defined lows, growly warm midrange. There's a lot to enjoy here, and it's going to look real swell on your wall.
