Fender Japan '62 Precision Bass PB62-75US Sunburst 2000
Fender '62 P, sunburst, crafted in Japan 1999-02. This is a great little working players' busy bass. The neck is superb: it's a comfy round profile and features some gorgeous flamed maple on the back and some lovely dark streaky rosewood on the front. It's a lightweight body, so that adds some attack and punch to the tone owing to the natural resonance as well as making things easier on your shoulders. The classic P punch is all there, balanced and warm, snappy and fat... goodness. The burst finish lets the classy alder body speak for itself; it's a classic aesthetic that'll be right at home in just about any gig. This is such a practical little friend to have in your stash, plus, it's got a certain understated swagger, right?
