Fender Japan ‘62 Reissue Jazz Bass JB62-58 Sunburst 1998
Fender '62 Jazz, sunburst, crafted in Japan 1997-00. This will do nicely. The '62 version of the Jazz Bass has a perfectly slim round neck; combined with the light weight body it's an effortless player that'll happily switch between flashy technical fills and bill-paying grooves. This one has a few marks to display a couple of decades of honest work; it lends the sunburst finish a charming well-loved look. Tone-wise, the body resonates truly and enjoys a sweet, rich midrange enhanced by the tasty rosewood slab fretboard; all this is translated to a tasty thick thump with a refined growl by the single coil pickups. All in all? This will do nicely.
