Fender '62 Reissue Tele, double bound candy apple red, crafted in Japan 2004-05. This model has got to be one of our most consistently requested guitars, people seem to lose their minds for the sleek curves of a double bound Tele! Fair enough too, this really is a stunning item. The cream binding really makes the classic candy apple pop, combined with the mint guard, it's 100% sassy. The good thing about these later versions of this model is you also get all the deluxe stuff: alder body, spiral saddle bridge and a pair of killer Texas Special pickups. The pickups deliver the goods: rich, sparkly highs and round, tight lows... plus, they love a bit of overdrive, adding some cream and depth to the unmistakable 'Tele twang'. The slim, round neck is instantly amiable; it's very easy to get your hands around and very satisfying. This will easily stack up against anything out of Fender USA, it's a brilliant guitar. Plus, did we mention it looks good?
