Fender '62 Strat, vintage white, made in Japan 1988. Yum.... creamy. First up: what a looker, right? The white finish has yellowed to a delicious butter hue, and paired with the aged plastics and a rosewood board as dark as your sense of humour, this is surely a radiant, majestic unicorn. It took me all of five seconds to start enjoying myself when I plugged this in, it sounds superb. There's the typical sparkly Strat-spank on deck, but this has that certain fatness through the low end and airy complexity through the mids that only 'the good ones' offer. The neck is a typical '62 style slim C shape, which is very intuitive and certainly a favourite amongst many Strat-tragics. It's lively, snappy and acoustically loud in the hands, it really comes back at you when you lay into it. There's a lot to love here, and I'd hazard a guess it won't last too long, so be quick!

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. Headstock has a few marks on the end and edges, as well as a couple of checking lines on the front. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, but there is a few dimples on the back and some play wear on the edges of the board. The back has widespread surface scratches and light scuffs, no major marks though. The sides have dimples and light scuffs around the whole body, nothing major though. The front has dimples behind the bridge, in the elbow area and on the top horn as well as some play wear on the guard and horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets have some normal wear but they're freshly polished and pretty even in height with no major buzz issues, 6/10 for fret life left. Setup with fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
