Fender Japan '62 Telecaster TL62B Double Bound Lake Placid Blue 2014
Fender '62 Tele, bound lake placid blue, made in Japan 2014. This, friends, is awesome. The double bound Tele is always one to set a few hearts aflutter, and even more so in a finish as saucy as lake placid. This one was wearing a Bigsby style 'F' branded trem from the factory, so that adds a whole new dimension to the traditional Tele Twang. It's got some upgraded electronics on deck too, so the tone is coming out with a heap of clarity and sparkle. The neck is slim and round; this '62 profile is a clear favourite for me personally amongst the MIJ Tele shapes; it's just to easy to like. This is a proper show pony: buy it, start the dang band you've been meaning to, get off your couch and write some hits!
