Fender Japan '69 Reissue Mustang MG69-65 Aged Sonic Blue 1997-00
Fender '69 Reissue Mustang, yellowed sonic blue, crafted in Japan 1997-00. Mustangs are cool, it's a fact of life. The slinky short scale feel, light body and slim neck make them an absolute breeze to play, and the snappy, warm tone is very charming and hard to beat for punk, grunge and surf. This one was blessed with a delightful sonic blue finish by the factory. The years have been kind and the blue has yellowed to a perfect summery seafoam green hue; it's certainly a sight for sore eyes. The fun thing about faded finishes like this is they have a certain depth and non-uniformity you don't get from a factory green; it's gorgeous, plain and simple. Surely your collection could do with a little slice of endless summer?
