Fender Japan '72 Reissue Strat, old candy apple, crafted in Japan 2004/5. The big CBS-era headstock on this caused plenty of controversy in 60s and 70s, but it's generally regarded these days to look very cool indeed. Aside from the headstock, this is sporting an unusual non-catalog old candy apple finish; it's a little darker and deeper than regular CAR... it looks awesome! The slim 70s style neck is really nicely balanced against the body, and being a lightly flatter radius it's a bit more friendly on big bends up the neck than some other models. The USA pickups dial out a nice balance of brightness, warmth, attack and body; this has instantly recognisable 'spank' we all love. If you're after a stylish all-rounder, this is a really attractive and easy playing Strat that'll surely take kindly to some hard work!
