Fender Aerodyne Jazz, matte black, crafted in Japan 2006-8. The Aero J is a cult favourite, and for good reason. The slimline body and slim, satin finish neck make it an easy player. The carved and contrast bound top, unique knobs and matching headstock make it a very slick looking instrument indeed. Plus, the P/J pickup combo offers a whole lot of possibilities; it's hard to find a scenario this won't eat up perfectly. The tone is a little more modern and 'scooped' than a regular vintage style J, great if you're playing heavier styles or funky stuff that needs that strong attack and definition. The white finish is less often seen than the grey and black this model is usually spotted in; with the black binding it's very cool. Music is my Aero-plane.
