Fender Japan Aerodyne Stratocaster AST-65 Black 2015
Fender Aerodyne Strat, made in Japan 2015, black. This is a sleek, slick, slippery slinky Strat. It's hard to argue against the carve top, gloss black and cream binding being extremely aesthetically pleasing... it's a classy combo. The sleek looks are complimented by a slim, satin finish neck and a lightweight body; it's very easy and quick in the hands. The neck and middle positions offer a tight, slightly scooped take on the classic Strat-spank; very tasty. The Quarter Pound bridge pickup is happiest with a smattering of gain; it's a thick, fat, crunchy slice of pie when served with a driven tube amp. These are a cult favourite and no longer in production, so if you're charmed by this handsome dark stranger, make friends quickly!
