Fender Jag, crafted in Japan 2004-5, black. What a sleek, sassy machine we have here. Jags are most commonly spotted in sunburst and candy apple red, the classy tuxedo white-on-black we have here is an unusual treat. It really does look amazing; the offset body is supremely slick surely destined for the stage. This one has had the original saddles switched for some tasty black Mustang style Graphtech saddles, saving the 'slippage' the original saddles sometimes experience and tying in nicely with the look. Tone-wise, the Jag-jangle is strong with this one: thick, plump juicy lows on the rhythm circuit, and when dialled in on the lead circuit, sparkly crisp highs with a heap of body and crunch to boot. Here's a dilemma: if you buy it, do you switch the guard for a black or tort option to highlight your dark side, or leave it minty to show you're too classy? Either way, you'll have the coolest dang guitar going around.
