Fender Jag, candy apple, crafted in Japan 1999-02. Not many guitars look better on stage than a candy apple Jag. This one wears the colour well; the decades have put a few marks here and there, but that only adds to the vintage cool. The combination of a short scale, slim neck and perfectly weighted offset body is a joy in the hands; this is an easy player that'll surely warm your heart. The classic Jag-jangle is best enjoyed with copious amounts of distortion and ambient effects, but it'll clean up for a cheeky surf-sesh equally happily. If you need a guitar that'll up your swagger instantly, this one will surely do the trick.

The back has a few marks on the top horn as well as some light dimples on the bottom edge and along the body carve; nothing nasty. The sides have a few marks: a couple of dimples on the top horn, two chips on the shoulder area; one is larger and one is pretty small, a minor chip and some dings around from the knobs and some small dimples on the bottom horn. The front is pretty clean, just some minor dimples in the shoulder area and some light marks from play on the guard and top horn. Overall: good condition (7/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. Frets look tidy; they appear to be recently dressed and polished, 8/10 for life left. All electrics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49s.
