Fender Japan Jaguar JG66-85 Old Candy Apple Red 2006-8
Fender Jag, old candy apple red, crafted in Japan 2006-8. 'Old' candy apple is a sweet finish; it's a darker, saucier take on the classic finish with a deep red-wine richness. Paired with a cream guard, a dark chocolate rosewood board and a matching headstock, this looks.... yummy. The classic Jag dual-circuitry allows for a whole stack of different interpretations of the 'Jag jangle'; it's easy to dial in a thick, swampy rhythm tone and then switch to a snappy, vibrant lead tone. The offset body is perfectly balanced; there's something so 'right' about the way it sits with a strap attached: this is made for the stage, surely. A classy take on the classic.

Cosmetic condition notes: Minor finish wear. The headstock has a minor dimple on the end. The neck is pretty clean. The back has some widespread but very minor buckle rash scratches, they're well spread over the whole back but there's nothing big/deep/nasty. The sides are pretty clean, just some light dimples on the top and bottom horns and some light scuffs near the rear strap pin. The front is pretty clean, just some light marks between the tailpiece and the knobs, some dimples on the shoulder area and some play-scratches on the guard. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. Frets have some minor wear but no major buzz issues and are fairly even, 7/10 for life left. All electrics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49s.
