Fender Japan Jazz Bass JB62-58 Candy Apple Red 1998
Fender Jazz Bass, Candy Apple Red, crafted in Japan 1997-00. Simple, classy, effective. The Jazz Bass debuted in 1962 as a top of the line offering from Leo and crew, with an offset body shape that matched the Jaguar and Jazzmaster models from the same era. This one references those originals: gold logo, rosewood slab fretboard, 7.25" radius, three ply guard and two single coil pickups. The neck is slim and quick, and at a hair over 4kg this one is lightweight and easy to handle. The tone is fast, fat and punchy with a crisp sparkle on the top end, perfect for punk, funk or classic rock stuff. The red looks great too, it will surely do it's best work under stage lights. Remember folks, it's a soft 'J', so it's pronounced 'Yazz Bass'.
