(SOLD) Fender Japan Mustang MG69 Old Lake Placid Blue 2010
Fender '69 Mustang, old lake placid blue, made in Japan 2010-11. What a cute little creature this is! The classic sixties curves of the Mustang body pop perfectly in a coat of old lake placid, it's got a lovely depth to it. This basically plays itself: the slim neck, lightweight offset body and cheeky trem make for a comfy, breezy feel that's addictively easy. Plugged-in, you get a punchy, thick tone with short sustain and plenty of snappy jangle. It's a great tone for indie or punk stuff, as there's so much natural attack and definition on deck that it stays clear even with a stack of gain and effects. I love it, you love it, we all love it.
