Fender Japan Standard Jazz Bass, crafted in Japan 1999-02, vintage white. There's something timeless and sleek about this finish, and as it yellows to a creamy hue it really starts to look awesome. This one is definitely in that category: it's a mellow, buttery colour with some cool sticker marks and a lot of appeal. These J-Std models are really nice; you get a sweet satin-finish modern shape neck, light body and nice simple hardware that gets the job done, all built with Japanese craftsmanship. This doles out the classic J tone: growl, cut and punch, and it's super easy to pull a fat sound because it's so easy to play. This is simple and effective, and that's what we all want, yes?

There's some uneven fading from since-removed stickers above and below the bridge pickup, there's no residue etc. Tere's some scuffs on the side in the body contour area, as well as a few dents around the front and back, nothing major. Overall: good condition (7/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good. Frets have minor wear but heaps of life left, 7/10. All electrics tested and working properly. Set up with fresh 45/105s. Sweet!
