Fender Japan Standard Precision Bass PB43 Candy Apple Red 2004
Fender J-Craft Standard Precision Bass, candy apple red, crafted in Japan 2004-5. This is an awesome quality, simple little P with a lot to offer. These 'Japan Standard' models were pitched at the local market; it's basically a '62 style P, but with a couple of modern touches like a satin finish neck, truss rod adjuster at the sensible end and the 90s-era logos. This one is in great shape; it's got a couple of little marks but looks very shiny and attractive. Tone-wise, this delivers a thick and warm classic P growl; it's light and lively in the hands and one of those basses you don't really want to put down. The superb Japanese craftsmanship really adds up well in the hands; that's where the magic is. Plus, you can't go wrong with candy apple red, right?
