Fender Japan J-Craft Standard Strat, shell pink, crafted in Japan 1997-00. Ooooh, that's pretty. These Japan Standard Strats are great little guitars. The recipe is pretty simple: take the '62 reissue Strat, add a satin finish neck, 9.5" radius and 90s decals. The neck is a dream, it feels so good: slim and quick, bend-friendly and made with amazing precision. The tone is very pleasing: classic Strat spank, with an understated fat rounded bass and a chiming, crystal clear treble. Shell pink is a non-catalog anomaly on this model; it looks so dang tasty. Twenty plus years of yellowing on the plastics and pink finish only adds to the appeal; it really pops on the shop wall and will surely do it's best work on stage. I love it, you'll love it, we all love it.
