Fender '70 Tele Thinline, natural mahogany gloss, made in Japan 2014. We don't get many Thinlines around here, and these 1970 style models with two single coils are even trickier to source than the TN72 model with humbuckers. It's a gorgeous thing to behold: the rich colour of the mahogany body pops perfectly against the white pearl guard and maple board, it's super classy. This arrived with an LP-style three-way switch and a reverse-plate style control setup, so we had our tech bring it back to original configuration. It's got some upgraded pots, switch and jack on deck to keep things super sturdy and clean. The neck is a lovely slim vintage C shape, it sits perfectly in the hands for chord work. Paired with the lightweight body, this feels very alive and responsive, it's such a fun friend to have. The tone on deck is an airy, thick take on the classic Tele-twang: it's got a big weighty bass response and a gorgeous complex midrange. This is really lovely, it'll surely keep you warm on those upcoming long, cold nights.

The sides have a couple of dimples in the elbow area and near the jack and some minor scuffs around the body, no major marks. The front has a few dimples in the elbow area and behind the bridge and some scuffs from play on the guard and horns. Note that the switch slot housed a pot on arrival, so it's been drilled in the middle but everything is fully functional. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. The frets are in good shape, just a bit of standard wear, 8/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
