Fender '62 Reissue P-Bass, made in Japan in 86-87, upgraded and refinished. This classy little killer has had 'the treatment' by our legendary partner in excellence, Jon Parsons of JPGW. It was stripped to the bare wood upon arrival, so Jon has sanded it smooth and applied a fresh hand-rubbed sunburst, finished in oil to a satin look. It surely looks phenomenal! The nature of the finish allows the angles of the body and grain of the wood to shine thorough, and it's extremely thin... so with a few hours of play, it'll naturally wear to gloss around the high-contact areas and look absolutely superb in a year or two. Aside from the looks, Jon also did a full re-wire with deluxe parts and installed a McNelly pickup. The pickups contributes to an excellent natural tone: noiseless, clear, full, warm, articulate, full and very sensitive. The body is nice and light, it's an exceptionally easy player with a whole stack of 80s-MIJ-magic. Jon's handiwork never lasts long around here; if you like it, don't wait too long.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. There's a pair of minor dings on the back of the neck and a couple of marks on the headstock. The finish is too new to have any wear yet, and the guard has some very small scratches. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly, note the recent upgrades and re-wire as listed above. Frets look good, minor wear only and very even, 8/10 for life left. Set up with fresh 45/105s. Saucy!
