Fender Made in Japan Hybrid 60s Telecaster Shell Pink 2019
Fender MIJ Hybrid 60s Telecaster, Shell Pink, made in Japan 2019. Shell Pink is one of those perfect 60s pool party colours that never seems to go out of style. Paired with the big slab of rosewood on the board, the silver spaghetti logo and the cute mint green guard, this looks very swish indeed. The first version of the Hybrid models got a very tasty set of USA-made '58 AVRI pickups, so this delivers a juicy balance of fat, percussive lows, shimmering highs and a gooey smoothness through the mids. The four way switch is cool too. This is a great take on the Tele, and a nice mix of mod cons and midcentury modern charm.
