Fender MIJ Trad 70s Tele, surf green, 2017. What a delightfully cool cucumber this one is. Surf green is often lauded as Fender's best finish; this certainly does nothing to hinder that claim... it's gorgeous. The slim neck is easy to make friends with, it's intuitive in the hands and features a tasty piece of rosewood. The alder body offers a smooth, balanced tone with tight lows and warm midrange to complement that classic Tele-twang. It's nice to get a guitar that's basically brand new without having to pay the new price; especially one that looks this good!
