Fender Japan Moeka Shiotsuka Jaguar Moni Aged Sonic Blue 2026
Fender Moeka model Jaguar, made in Japan 2026, Aged Sonic Blue finish. Moeka Shiotsuka sings and plays guitar in J-rock indie darlings Hitsujibungaku, which literally translates to 'sheep literature'. Her main stage guitar for many years was an American Vintage '65 Jaguar, wearing a coat of thin-skin Sonic Blue, so this signature model run references that hard working riffstick. The 1965 Jaguar got big bold gold logos, a bound fretboard with dot inlays, the dual-circuit electronics and Offset Vibrato tailpiece, so this gets all that goos stuff too. You get a custom engraved neck plate and fourth string tuner, brass saddles and a custom set of pickups made just for the model, so this is a bit different from a standard JG66. The pickups are great: a little thicker and juicier through the lows and mids compared to a regular JG-Single, while maintaining that abundant clarity and sparkle we all love from a Jag. Supremely cute.
