(SOLD) Fender Mustang Bass Fiesta Red 1999-02
Fender Mustang Bass, CIJ 99-02, fiesta red. This is superbly cool. Mustang basses look amazing, but the real magic is in the feel. The 30"short scale is an absolute breeze on the fingers, everything feels within easy reach and it's just so fun to play. The slinkier scale also means a thumpy, round tone that's got a lot of charm and slots perfectly into punk, soul and any number of other vintage-vibe genres. These CIJ models feature some pretty nice specs too; you get a US bridge plate, Duncan Designed pickups and an alder body. The red finished has mellowed nicely over the years, it's looking sweet, and the aftermarket black guard is a nice touch. As noted above... this is superbly cool.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. There's a pair of small chips on the corner of the back, halfway between the string ferules and the input jack. There's a few minor scratches on the back and front, as well as a very small ding on the top horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, intonation is good, neck is straight, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have some minor wear, but really not much, 8/10. Super fun!
