Fender '62 Reissue Tele, double bound gloss black, made in Japan 1985. This is a rare 'A serial' guitar; so it's very early in the story of Fender Japan, and quite collectable as such. The 80s MIJ models are known for their exceptional build quality and amazing wood selection, and this is a perfect example: it's a stunning piece of work. The neck is slim and perfectly comfortable, it features some stunning maple grain and a beautiful slab of dark, tightly grained rosewood. The bound-bound body looks amazing, it's hard to beat for style and the black is a really classy understated option. The tone is all T: warm, bright, open, snappy and full; perfect for rhythm playing and superbly charismatic. This is a lovely guitar, it's a good as you could wish for and sure to evoke enthusiasm from many players!
