Fender Thinline Tele, crafted in Japan 2002-04, natural finish. This is a beautiful thing. The grain of the sen ash body is on full display under the immaculate clear finish; it has an organic and enchanting look to it. The factory white-pearl guard is included, but has been switched out for a sleek black gloss guard, which lends the guitar a no-nonsense appeal. The electronics have been upgraded with sturdy, high-fidelity parts that should increase both the hardiness of the output and the clarity of the tone. Speaking of tone... that has truckloads of it. The pickups deliver an articulate, snappy attack that responds quickly to the nuances of the hands, and the balance between warmth, bite and body is exceptional. The slim 70s-style neck and maple board are easy to love, and combined with the light body, this is a pleasure to play, even for extended sessions. The case included is a basically brand new Fender flight case, so if the touring life is calling, this is surely a reliable travelling companion that'll deliver night-after-night. You'll let her sleep in the hotel bed with you, right?

Cosmetic condition notes: negligible finish wear. There's a couple of extremely minor scratches and dings on the body, you have to be well under 1ft away to see any of them. Overall: excellent condition (9.5/10).

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly, noting the excellent upgrades mentioned above. The frets are in goog shape, there's barely any wear, 8/10 for life left. Tidy!
