Fernandes Ravelle Elite Black Cherry 2010
Fernandes Ravelle Elite, made in Korea 2010, black cherry. Well this one is a bit different hey? Fernandes have a long and storied history of making great guitars, and this is a modern example of their powers. The shape is not too far from an Iceman or Mockingbird; similar in vibe but an original beast of it's own. The workmanship is excellent, plus there's plenty of 'bling' on show for extra fun. The original neck 'Sustainer' pickup remains; it's a cool thing with a unique tone. The EMG in the bridge does exactly what you'd expect: cranks out a heap of nastiness for you to crush skulls with. If you're after a shredstick that's a quirky departure from the usual superstrats and singlecuts, this is a cool option.
