Gibson '76 Explorer, or X-Plorer, as it's sometimes known, ebony finish, made in USA 2008. This, friends, is not for jazz. It's not for ambient indie or alt-country. It's for rock and roll, plain and simple. It feels awesome in the hands: well weighted and balanced, resonant, well put together and finished with an intuitive, not-quite-slim neck profile. The 'Dirty Fingers' pickups are a wild mood: heaps of output, thick and juicy natural bass, sharp and defined highs and a mile-thick midrange with plenty of natural compression and heft. It's one of those guitars that'll have you practising your power pose, laughing with glee and trying to think of the funniest things that guy from The Hives said about how much he rocks. Makes your life better!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock has minor dimples on the back and the start of some finish checking. Neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples on the back only. The back has light scuffs, mostly around the front strap pin; no major marks. The sides have a few little dimples and scuffs on the top edge at the point, near the jack and on the bottom horn. The front is pretty clean, just some light scuffs near the knobs and play wear on the guard and horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10)

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, intonation is good, action is low, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets look great, 9/10 for fret life left. Setup with fresh 12/54 Moonshiners strings in drop C tuning.
