Gibson LP Junior, 2010, satin black. One slab of mahogany, one P-90 pickup... what else do you want? The Les Paul Junior is one of Gibson's masterpieces; the design is so simple, but it's so satisfying. This is pretty light in weight; the flat top, slightly slimmer profile and slim 60s neck lend it a certain ease in the hands. It feels compact and friendly without being claustrophobic, it's very easy to play. The tone is where the magic is: the P-90 offers thick, warm, rich mids and a superbly dynamic top-end. The touch-sensitivity and defined attack mean all the nuances of your playing really shine through. The super thin satin black finish has a few marks to keep it honest, it's very appealing. The simple lines ooze retro-sophistication, contrasting against the perfectly-punk single pickup and worn black finish. Basically: this is awesome.

Model: Gibson Les Paul Junior
Made: USA, 2010 (serial 121700690)

Body and neck: solid mahogany, rosewood board
Weight: 3.5kg approx
Mods: none
Pickups: Gibson P-90, alnico magnet

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The finish on these is very thin, so it wears pretty quickly. The most notable marks are around the sides: near the reat strap pin, near the jack, and on the shoulder-contact area. Aside from that, there's some minor chips on the end of the headstock, some light buckle rash, some light play wear and a few miscellaneous scratches etc around the body. Overall: good condition (7/10).

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have very little wear; 8.5/10 for life left. Freshly setup with new 11/49s.
