Gibson Les Paul Studio Alpine White 2012
Gibson LP Studio, alpine white, made in USA 2012. White and gold... classy. The Studio is a trimmed down version of the Les Paul Standard, so you get a carved maple top, two humbuckers, trap inlays the Tune-O-Matic and stoptail bridge combo, but none of the flame maple or binding etc. It looks awesome, especially with the gold hardware and a little bit of honest play wear on the clock. The neck is moderately slim and is a nice comfy rounded shape, and at 3.6kg it's very light for an LP. The pickups deliver those classic rock tones: thick syrupy punch on the neck pickup, crunchy punchy slice on the bridge pickup. It's hard to get any change from A$3k for a brand new LP Studio these days, so this is a pretty agreeable little score.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a chip and some checking on the end, dimples on the edges and front around the posts and some checking lines and extra holes from former tuners on the back. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, a couple of minor dents and some rub wear on the back only. The back has dimples around the switch cavity, a chip and some scuffs in the elbow area, dimples around the control cavity and some scuffs on the bottom horn. The sides have dimples and checking on the top horn, a couple of dents and dimples in the elbow area and some dimples and scuffs near the jack and on the bottom horn. The front has dimples and checking lines around the knobs, dimples around the tailpiece, scuffs along the back edge and elbow area, dimples around the switch and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (7.5/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 8/10, minor wear only
