Gibson SG Special Faded Worn Brown 2007
Gibson SG Special, Worn Brown, made in USA 2007. Gibson's Faded Series guitars enjoy a good rep these days: the finish was designed to wear in and rub-up quickly, like a pair of jeans. The brown is a little warmer and friendlier to the eye than the classic Cherry finish, it has a certain appeal to it. This one is the no-nonsense SG, and it delivers the goods. The neck is a comfy medium C type shape, well balanced against the body and easy to enjoy. The pickups deliver abundant growl and punch, with a warm round low end and a smooth midrange. If you're after a classic SG for not much more than a new Epiphone, this is a good one.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor dents on the end and some stand burn on the sides around the nut. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and some rub wear on the back. The back has dimples near the neck join, scuffs along the back edge and some rub wear on the top horn and elbow area. The sides have minor dimples and rub wear around the whole body. The front has dimples around the knobs and switch, rub wear in the elbow area and play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 8/10, minor wear only
