Greco Mint Collection SS63-60 SG Style Black 1990
Greco Mint Collection SS63-60, made in Japan 1990, black. This is a really fun guitar to play! The neck has the typical classic-SG slightly chunky roundness; it's well balanced with the light body and sits nicely in the hands. Being light in weight, this is a perfect stage guitar... it'll handle all your antics and be friendly to your ageing back. The original Greco pickups are great, they offer a really tasty mix of snap and bite with a crunchy, full midrange and a deep, tight bass; there's plenty of output on tap to push your amp into nastiness with ease. The aged binding and inlays complement the lightly worn black finish nicely; it's got a played-but-not-thrashed look that's fitting of a guitar of this age and quality. If you're after an SG-style guitar that's well weighted, precisely made and finished that'll deliver a tonne of tone, look no further.
