Gretsch Electromatic Double Jet, black, made in China 2011. The Duo Jet is a classic shape, they have an attitude and a snarl you can't easily get get from a Fender or Gibson. This here is the Electromatic version from 2011, when the catalog was a bit simpler than it is today, and it's a nicely made guitar with plenty of personality. The neck is slim and round, comfy for smaller hands or quicker playing, and the double cut body balances nicely. The mini humbuckers deliver plenty of rasp and sizzle on the high end, complemented by a growly midrange and a fast, understated bass. This is heaps of guitar for the cash and a ready to get some parties started.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some dimples on the end and scuffs on the end and bottom edge. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, very minor scuffs on the back only. The back has a couple of dents in the middle of the body, a pair of small chips on the edge in the bottom corner near the cavity cover, scuffs around the neck join, top horn, back edge and elbow area and some dimples on both horns. The sides have a chip and some scuffs on the top horn, some small chips, a dent and some scuffs in the elbow area, three small chips and some scuffs near the jack and two chips and a dent on the bottom horn; none of the marks are especially big or nasty. The front has scuffs around the knobs and  elbow area, some dimples on the bottom horn and around the tailpiece and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (7.5/10)

Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 strings.
Fret Life: 8/10, minor wear only
