Guyatone EB-1 short scale bass, white, made in Japan 1967. This is a cute little Mosrite-esque offering, complete with five decades years of finish wear and a whole heap of charm. This features the outrageously short scale length of 24.75", same as most Les Pauls and nearly ten inches shorter than a regular bass. As such, it cranks out a thick, thumpy tone with very little sustain that's perfectly nasty and terribly good. The neck is straight and sturdy it really does play well; there's a lot to like. The finish checking and fading really adds a lot of depth to the look; this radiates vintage futuristic cool. Just add a fuzz pedal and a hefty amp and you'll be in surf/psych heaven in no time.

Cosmetic condition notes: moderate finish wear. There's some marks on the end and around the edges of the headstock. Neck is pretty clean with jut a few minor nicks. The back has extensive checking lines and a bunch of minor dents and scratches, no major marks though. The side have scuffs and marks around the whle guitar, as well as a couple of little chips near the rear strap pin. The front has no major marks, just a bunch of checking lines and some scuffs on the horns, shoulder and behind the bridge. Overall: good condition (7/10).

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight (no issues there!), action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. Frets have some minor wear, plenty of height in them; 7/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 45/105 Moonshiners strings.
