(SOLD) Ibanez EX370FM Transparent Blue 1992

Ibanez EX370FM Transparent Blue 1992

Ibanez EX Series EX370FM, trans blue, made in Korea 1992. The EX stands for 'experimental'; this line was some of the first Ibanez models made outside Japan. The shape is basically an RG, but with rounded edges for extra comfort. The finish is awesome: there's a vibrant piece of flame maple on show under a transparent blue stain that's yellowed with age to a deep forest green. Between the green hue, gold hardware and angular inlays, this definitely has a maniacal look to it. In true Ibanez fashion, this is nicely put together with a quick neck and sturdy hardware. The pickups are passive but with plenty of output, so it's most at home slamming your amp into angry overdrive. It's much more friendly than your other 'ex', right?
