Ibanez RG470, cobalt blue, made in Korea 1994. This is so much guitar for the cash, it's pretty outrageous. Ibanez first ventured into making guitars in Korea in the early 90s, so this is pretty early into that era. It's really well executed: the neck is straight and table after all these years, the hardware is sturdy, the tremolo is big and smooth... it feels really tidy and tight in the hands. The pickups deliver a balanced, full tone with plenty of low end and attack, perfect if you're adding 7-9 gain stages to get the party started. The blue finish is kinda purple in the flesh, kinda like a Cadbury chocolate packet. Heaps good.
