Ibanez TMB600 Talman Bass, natural gloss, made in Indo 2017. The Talman shape has enjoyed a bit of a resurgence in the last couple of years, which is only right in my opinion; it's a cool little line. This is the high end version of the Talman Bass, so it's got a pair of P/J Nordstrand pickups and an active preamp. That offers a heap of tonal possibilities: the P pickup has plenty of natural low end and a refined, balanced mid range. The J pickup is growly and barky, but with a nice smoothness to it, especially with a whisker of bass boost via the preamp. The neck is moderate and round, similar in profile to a 60s style P bass, and the ash body is nicely balanced. The combo of a dark rosewood board, red tort guard and the natural ash finish makes for a cool aesthetic, it's a cool mix of 60s style surf curves and 90s low-key bling. This is in great shape and would just about suit a new buyer. Cool bass!
