LTD EC Black Metal Black Satin 2018Left Handed
LTD EC Black Metal, blacker than the blackest black times infinity, made in Indonesia 2018, left handed. The Black Metal series launched a few years back as a mid-high end offering from LTD, featuring trimmed down controls, ebony fretboards and all black everything. This one is an Eclipse shape, ESP's shred-friendly update on the LP, so it balances beautifully in the hands and offers super smooth access all the way up to the 24th fret. The pickup is Duncan's 'Blackened Black Winter'... what a name, right? It's a very high output passive humbucker, and it delivers the nasty metal tones with plenty of gusto and a tight, immediate punch. The black-on-black-on-black look is fun too, it will go with your nail polish and sense of humour, right?

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor scuffs on the treble side. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has minor scuffs on the top horn and elbow area. The sides have a dent on the top horn and some scuffs near the jack. The front has dimples behind the tailpiece, scuffs in the elbow area and play wear below the pickup.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 9/42 Moonshiner strings.
Fret Life: 8/10, minor wear only
