ESP LTD EX Black Metal, made in Indonesia 2021, black on black on black. LTD stuff generally punches extremely hard for the dime, or even not for the dime, just as a blanket statement. This punches very hard. First up, it's well balanced in the hands. The neck is slim, straight, comfy and quick, with easy access all the way up, and the lightweight body is resonant and surprisingly ergonomically friendly. The EMG pickup delivers heaps of low end heft and aggressive mids, and while it's not the most jazztastic tone around, if you're playing heavy stuff it'll nail the brief. If the stain black paint wasn't enough, this got black hardware and an ebony board to boot, so it's now blacker than the blackest black times infinity.
