There's nice tube combos, and there's OH BOY THAT IS NICE tube combos. This little mate is right up there with the best amps I've ever heard. Lucas Miles is the brainchild of Melbourne father/son duo Dean and Lucas Miles Horler. This is a vintage correct tribute to the 'brownface' 1963 Fender Deluxe, point-to-point handwired with nothing but the absolute best components available and built with true artisan love and care. The normal and bright inputs offer different levels of chime and sparkle; handy for different guitars or gig settings. Clean, this sings with clarity and fullness; cranked up it explodes into a rich harmonic tapestry of delectable overtones and natural tube compression. The valve tremolo is smooth and intoxicating too; it's a perfect little wobble. This has that 'magic' thing where everything just sounds fuller, richer and more musical... it makes things better.
