Marshall JCM2000 Triple Super Lead TSL602 60w 2x12" Guitar Combo Amp
I was a child of the nu-metal era, and so I remember when these came out... let's just say, the bodies were hitting the floor. The JCM2000 series dropped in the early 00s as an updated take on the classic JCM rock sound, but with some modern conveniences and a few tricks up it's sleeve. The TSL end of the range had three gain stages: enough to compete with the filthy stuff coming out of companies like Peavey and Mesa Boogie for all your chugging needs. But, the fun thing here is that this really covers a lot of ground. You can get very convincing warm clean sounds, complete with a tasty reverb. You can get classic Marshall crunchy low gain bluesy growl. And, you can get super saturated wailing liquid leads and brain blending chunky chuggs. Plus, it's got effects loops and all that jazz. There's a lot to enjoy here, truly. BRB, gotta go learn every song from The Darkness' seminal debut, Permission To Land.
