Now friends, I am full of opinions (and tacos), but I reckon the Maxon D&S is a SEVERELY underrated pedal. It's a distortion, with one  foot in the fuzz camp, and it's all sorts of awesome. Thick, singing lead tones with heaps of harmonics and punch, or gnarly thick power chords... the thing sounds unreal. This is the late 90s reissue, so you get a handy LED and 9v power in. D&S= dastardly stupendous.
