Mesa Boogie Rectifier Mini Twenty Five Dyna-Watt guitar amp head, made in California, USA in 2019. First up, what a cool idea: huge iconic Mesa Rectifier tone in a compact box. You get two independent switchable 25/10w channels with 2-stage gain, 3-band EQ and presence controls. You can use the included footswitch to jump between the two. As gimmicky as the pocket Rec may seem, thankfully this is an actual rectifier which is all hand-made with Mesa premium parts, just ultra-compact. In addition to the bitey cleans, thunderous chug, and everything in between, you get two additional tonal options to switch things up even more. The clean/pushed switch on the first channel does as described, steps up cleans to a punchier rock crunch that is simply delightful. The second channel runs Mesa's familiar high gain Rec sounds with a modern/vintage switch with two well thought out tonal footprints. 'Modern' gives you an ultra aggressive and percussive attack with more cut than the barbershop across the road. 'Vintage' treats you to a lush wall of sound where a single note carries immense weight, unlike you now thanks to Mesa. It even has a carry bag with a shoulder strap. It's time to rectify that back pain right?
